Brewers Notes

First automated batch, after initial calibration, perfect extraction over all 16hrs. Plum and lavender take over initially, while dark chocolate and an elegant body wrap things up on the back of the palette.

Origins

Motherland Farmers is a vision by Fred Kasigwa. Fred is a survivor of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, and when he inherited 105-hectares of land in the district of Nyamagabe he wanted to grow coffee. Furthermore he wanted to establish a coffee washing station to export coffee from the farm and about 1000 other small farmers in the area.
